Welcome to Douglas Court

Douglas Court is a purpose designed care home, built in 1996 to a very high specification. The home was acquired by ourselves, Adept Care Group, in April 2001. The home is registered with the Care Quality Commission for 43 older people.

You have probably been used to living on your own or in a small family group, therefore great consideration has been taken to ensure that the surroundings and atmosphere are as comfortable as possible.  The report of a qualified Occupational Therapist with specialist knowledge of the client group ensures that the environment has all the latest disability equipment and adaptations meet our client’s needs. Douglas Court’s design places the emphasis on a “clean and safe” surrounding, in which your wishes, views and ideas about the daily operation of the home will be respected.
