Welcome to The Old Vicarage

The Old Vicarage is a converted Vicarage with a large purpose designed extention. The home was acquired by ourselves, Adept Care Group, in September 2008. The home is registered with the Care Quality Commission for 40 older people with nursing if required.

When the need arises to place the care of someone you love into the hands of others or when you think you can’t manage at home any longer, it’s good to know that there are care homes like The Old Vicarage.  Sensitive to needs and encouraging a full and active lifestyle, where residents have the choice and freedom to control their daily routine.  Enjoyable stimulating activities and entertainment are always top of our agenda.  Good home cooking, experienced staff, 24-hour assistance and tailored care plans ensure that the care provided is as individual as possible. 

You have probably been used to living on your own or in a small family group, therefore great consideration has been taken to ensure that the surroundings and atmosphere are as comfortable as possible.  We use a qualified Occupational Therapist with specialist knowledge of the client group to ensure that the environment has all the latest disability equipment and adaptations meet our client’s needs. The Old Vicarage’s design places the emphasis on a “clean and safe” surrounding, in which your wishes, views and ideas about the daily operation of the home will be respected.
